Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

The Customer determines the purposes and means of processing personal information of its clients and staff uploaded to the Service (business / controller).

Snikevent processes such information only to provide the Service under the Terms of Service and the Customer’s documented instructions (service provider / processor). We do not sell that information or use it for our own commercial purposes outside the Service.

Processing lasts for the term of the Terms of Service / Service use and includes hosting, storage, use, disclosure to infrastructure subprocessors, and deletion.

Data subjects: Customer clients, contacts, Customer staff or contractors, and others the Customer enters into the Service.

Data categories: identity and contact data, project and financial fields as provided by the product. The Customer must not upload special-category or children’s data without a separate written agreement.

Process personal information only on documented Customer instructions (use of the Service constitutes instructions), unless law requires otherwise.

Ensure confidentiality of personnel and apply appropriate technical and organizational measures.

Notify the Customer of a personal-information security incident without undue delay after becoming aware of it.

On end of service, delete or return data on request, except copies retained where legally required.

Assist the Customer with reasonably required CCPA/CPRA or other U.S. consumer requests that relate to data in the Service.

The Customer authorizes infrastructure processors needed to run the cloud Service (hosting, database, sign-in, email, payments). Typical categories include cloud hosting, data storage, email delivery, and Freedom Pay when enabled.

A current list is available on request via the Operator’s email. Material changes are reflected in Service documentation where practical.

The Customer handles requests from individuals it controls. The Operator provides reasonable assistance via export/delete features and clarifying responses.

On written request at most once per 12 months, the Operator provides high-level security information that does not disclose security secrets or other tenants’ data.

This DPA is governed by the same law and venue as the Terms of Service (Delaware, USA), except where a mandatory privacy statute applies to a specific request.

If this DPA conflicts with the Terms of Service on personal-information processing, the DPA prevails. Accepting the Terms and using the Service constitutes agreement to this DPA unless the parties sign a separate copy.
